Korean Flat Shields (1 pair)

Korean Flat Shields (1 pair)

The Signature Tool of the Korean Lash Lift Technique

The Korean Flat Shield is the defining tool that separates a Korean lash lift from a hybrid lash lift and understanding how to use it is central to mastering this technique.

In a Korean lash lift, the flat shield is placed first, as close to the lash line as possible. After applying a thin layer of glue balm to the shield surface, lashes are carefully lifted and mapped upward using a Y-comb and microswab. Step 1 Lifting Cream is then applied root to tip and processed. Once Step 1 is fully removed, the flat shield is folded downward and replaced with a curling shield before applying Step 1.5 and Step 2.

Why the two-shield technique? The flat shield allows the lashes to process in a straighter, more elongated position during Step 1 giving you that signature lifted-and-fluffy Korean result rather than a tight C-curl. The curling shield then reforms the bonds into the final lifted shape during neutralization.

Unlike the soft, rounded rods used in hybrid lifts, flat shields require lashes to lie flat against the surface rather than wrapping around a rod. This is why glue balm not traditional lash glue is used in the Korean method. Its thick, balm-like texture holds lashes in this precise flat position throughout the chemical process, and releases cleanly with water at removal.

Each flat shield is reusable and can be disinfected between clients.

Sold as 1 pair. Designed for use with the Light Heart Korean Lash Lift system.
